🇺🇦 Ukraine has established two routes through Poland and Romania to export grain and avert a global food crisis.
🇺🇦 Pro-Russian Ukrainian separatists in occupied Donetsk have lost half of their troops since the war began
🇺🇦 Speaking of Donetsk, the UA army has retaken three villages in the Donetsk region.
🇺🇦 France delivered CAESARs with their fire control systems intact
🇺🇦 Ukraine is currently in an ‘artillery duel’ with Russia in Southern Ukraine
🇺🇦 Ukraine will request 1,000 howitzers and 500 tanks from NATO. These numbers are to achieve parity with Russia.
🤢 Gross warning…gross….don’t read if you’re eating dinner…Russians have been eating dogs in Ukraine because they don’t have any other meat. This has been going on, and it’s still going on. Orcs
🤢More gross warning…Bodies are being dug up in Bucha 'with hands bound and gunshots to knees'
🇺🇦 Some reporting suggests that the UA line is 10km away from Kherson
🇺🇦 Russians are still very much using old Soviet methods of just hurling masses of people forward, regardless of how many will be killed
🇺🇦 Russian forces continue to struggle with generating additional combat-capable units.
🇺🇦 There is a solid possibility that Russia will take Eastern Ukraine in the coming weeks. Though an awful prediction, this comes at a great cost.
🇺🇦 Russian forces continued ground assaults in Severodonetsk
🇺🇦 Russia has destroyed all bridges leading to Severodonetsk in an attempt to cut Ukrainian ground lines of communication that run from Bakhmut to Lysychansk and Severodonetsk.
🇺🇦 Try this logic on….they couldn’t cross the Siverskyi Donets River so they blew up the bridges instead
🇺🇦 Russian forces made incremental gains to the southeast of Izyum and will likely continue attempts to advance on Slovyansk from the northwest.
🇺🇦 Russian forces continued efforts to push Ukrainian troops back from contested frontlines northeast of Kharkiv City.
🇺🇦 Russian forces focused on maintaining defensive lines along the Southern Axis.
🇺🇦 Pro-Russian sources are spreading disinformation to sow anxiety and resentment among the Ukrainian population. Sowing discontent is Russia’s primary MO for conquering a nation.
🇺🇦 In the above case, Russian Telegram channels are spreading a fake mobilization order that they falsely attributed to the Ukrainian General Staff. The fake order called for the mobilization of all eligible Ukrainian women to report for duty by “June 31” (sic).
💡In general, if you see a meme or social media post that makes you furious and angry, stop and consider if there is any merit, or if it’s just designed to make you angry for the sake of being angry. Consider who would benefit from you being angry. I used to see this a LOT in America, but it has dried up considerably since Russia has been cut off from the world. (Side note, Russia didn’t really have any political preferences in America, they just wanted Americans to hate Americans, and they leveraged elements in both the right and the left to achieve this)
📢 Countries apply to be in NATO. NATO doesn’t seek to expand. Saying NATO is encroaching on Russia is Kremlin messaging. Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the first.
📢 Yes, Ukraine has a nazi problem, but it’s a very small percentage of the country, and not representative of the whole. Using a small group to smear the entire group is called “guilt by association.” Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the second.
📢 If you ever hear anyone say “What about this thing America did…” or “what about Palistine?” in an effort to redirect attention away from Ukraine and onto the west, that is called “Competitive victimhood” and the associated meme is *always* created by Russian-backed media. Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the third.
⚠️ Sorry about the typos or awkward sentences!!!! This is the inevitable result of putting out a finalized research product once every 24 hours, with no staff. If anyone feels like giving me staff, we can polish this b right up!
⚠️ I got lazy with my citations and I apologize. My top sources are: Current and former military planners, singularly-focused pundits, and all manner of vetted open-source intelligence. Top cited open source pundits and sources include: CP Scott, Institute for the Study of War, Kyiv Independent, Aaron Parnas, John Aravosis, Malcontent News, and mainstream news with high levels of journalistic integrity and track records. Sadly I can’t source private individuals, of course.
⚠️ Speaking of sources, thanks to all of you who have forwarded me tips or given me data from the front line. You’re the private individuals I wish I could source publicly
⚠️ Though my awesome employer taught me everything I know about OSINT, these posts are not affiliated with my employer, nor done during my employer’s time. Every item I report is from my own research, my own opinion, and written during my own time.
⚠️ Note: War happens fast and even high fidelity news needs a ton of corrections after the dust settles. Also, I’ve been spoiled by social media’s format where I can update the final product every time I find a typo. That poses a problem because…
⚠️ I started a Substack newsletter to accommodate the individual emails requests. Feel free to subscribe!
Thank you. Our adopted daughters family us from Gorlovka and her adoption orphanage was in Artemovsk (spelling varies from Russian translated into English or Ukie translated into English). If you can find out what happened to those towns (they’re not villages) we would greatly appreciate it. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Thanks Walter we appreciate your information and accept the hope in that no news about the orphanage is good news and that there is hope for our daughters birth family and Gorlovka.
About our adopted daughter, it was literally a call from God that we could not ignore. He supplied the grace throughout it all, and 9 months later she came home one week before Christmas. Our 3 year old birth daughter first gave us the news that she was going to be a big sister and told her whole class and teacher, proclaiming it to everyone. We already had 3 kids by birth and life was perfect, and God wanted us to share all the blessings He gave us with one little girl 1/2 way around His world. She knows how incredibly blessed she is and knows there’s responsibility with those blessings. The only thing we can take credit for us saying “yes” to the call. For that, we are forever blessed.
