Russia has lost more than 30,000 troops. Russia is exporting Ukraine's wheat to Russia
🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day. The legacy of heroes is the inheritance our country gives us.
🇺🇦 Mounting casualties among Russian junior officers further degrades Russian capabilities and lead to further morale breakdowns.
🇺🇦 Domestic dissent within Russian military circles continues to grow.
🇺🇦 Russian forces continued to incrementally capture areas of Severodonetsk but have not yet fully encircled the city.
🇺🇦 Russian forces focused on regrouping near Izyum to renew offensives towards Slovyansk and Barvinkove and conducted only minor, unsuccessful, attacks.
🇺🇦 The limited Ukrainian counterattack in northern Kherson Oblast did not take any further ground in the last 48 hours but has disrupted Russian operations.
🇺🇦 Russian Combat Forces have reportedly begun to withdraw from cities along the Kherson/Mykolaiv front due to heavy UA counteroffensives.
🇺🇦 France will send an additional batch of Caesar self-propelled howitzers to Ukraine
🇺🇦 Security Service of Ukraine claims evidence that Russian military contractors refuse to go on the offensive, as they suffer significant losses. According to the intelligence service, in the Donetsk region, Russian contract soldiers almost shot their general Valery Solodchuk and his guards, who arrived in order to force the soldiers” to continue fighting. Purportedly, the soldiers refused to obey the order and were ready to blow up the distinguished guests. Therefore, the Russian general fled from the front line.
🇺🇦 Another mass grave has been found near Mariupol. The total civilian deaths may exceed 22,000
🇺🇦 A French journalist was killed during an evacuation of Luhansk Oblast
🇺🇦 Kremlin-installed leaders in Kherson stated they have begun exporting wheat to Russia. Just in case it wasn’t clear, Russia is stealing Ukrainian food and sending it home.
🇺🇦 A Melitopol car b0mbing marks the first major act of guerilla warfare against Russian collaborators
🇺🇦 Russia has exceeded 30,000 troop deaths. I have not seen the latest casualty numbers, but I surmise it exceeds 100,000
📢 Countries apply to be in NATO. NATO doesn’t seek to expand. Saying NATO is encroaching on Russia is Kremlin messaging. Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the first.
📢 Yes, Ukraine has a nazi problem, but it’s a very small percentage of the country, and not representative of the whole. Using a small group to smear the entire group is called “guilt by association.” Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the second.
📢 If you ever hear anyone say “What about America…” in an effort to redirect attention away from Ukraine and onto the west, that is called “Competitive victimhood” and the associated meme is *always* created by Russian-backed media. Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the third.
⚠️ Note: I got lazy with my citations and I apologize. My top sources are: Current and former military planners, singularly-focused pundits, and all manner of vetted open-source intelligence. Top cited open source pundits and sources include: CP Scott, Institute for the Study of War, Kyiv Independent, Aaron Parnas, John Aravosis, Malcontent News, and mainstream news with high levels of journalistic integrity and track records. Sadly I can’t source private individuals, of course.
⚠️ Speaking of sources, thanks to all of you who have forwarded me tips. You’re the private individuals I wish I could source publicly
