🇺🇦 11th General KIA: Major General Andrey Simonov. (10 RU + 1 Chechen) And without a hint of irony…
🇺🇦 Russia is planning a Victory Day parade for May 9. Pictured is the rehearsal.
🇺🇦 More details on the attack: Yesterday, more than 40 high-ranked Russian military officers gathered in the Russian HQ in Izium. Ukraine attacked this site. Up to 20 of them are confirmed killed incl. Gen. Andrey Simonov. Gen. Simonov was a commander of electronic warfare forces of the West district. They also lost 30 armored vehicles in this attack.
🇺🇦 Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, General Valeriy Gerasimov, was also wounded in the attack
🇺🇦 Can I just say that it might be premature to plan Victory Day parades?
🇺🇦 Transnistria—the Russian-aligned breakaway area in Moldova—pre-printed a newspaper describing a yet-to-happen terrorist attack attributed to Ukrainians. The newspaper is dated May 2. (Ukraine intelligence) There is additional leaked info from the FSB suggesting that a false flag attack in Transnistria is imminent.
🇺🇦 Russia is quitting the International Space Station over sanctions
🇺🇦 Russia has stolen several hundred thousand tons of grain from Ukraine.
🇺🇦 Russians plunder $5M farm vehicles from Ukraine -- to find they've been remotely disabled
🇺🇦 UN and Red Cross have begun evacuations from the Azovstal steel mill in Mariupol. 25 civilians rescued so far. I don’t know how this happened, and I didn’t hear anything leading up to it.
🇺🇦 A Russian ammo depot in Kozychevo near Belgorod is on fire
🇺🇦 9,000 cases of war crimes being investigated
🇺🇦 Denmark is sending a whole bunch of weapons to Ukraine. I didn’t bother writing it all down, but it’s a bunch of stuff.
🇺🇦 Something like 20 planeloads of US equipment landed in Ukraine in the past few days. Another 15-or-so are expected
🇺🇦 Russia paid it’s foreign debt payment yesterday. (For anyone unconvinced that RU isn’t planning a nuclear assault, here’s your evidence)
🇺🇦 Poland and NATO are doing shared military exercises all across Poland. Heavy equipment is expected. So if you see a bunch of videos of heavy equipment in Poland, you know it’s because of exercises and not an invasion or something.
🇺🇦 Russian propagandist and TV hose Vladimir Solovyov says that Zelensky is an actor hired to pose as Ukraine’s president, and that the Ukraine is actually being run by a collective fuhrer of the west….whatever the hell that means.
Operations:
🇺🇦 Russia has made NO advancements anywhere in the past 48 hours.
🇺🇦 Ukraine regained control of 5 villages in the Kharkiv region
🇺🇦 Russian forces are unlikely to make any additional gains in the East. In fact, Ukraine will likely start making counteroffensive progress
🇺🇦 Russian forces have pause in Kherson in order to regroup and to improve their tactical positions.
📢 Countries apply to be in NATO. NATO doesn’t seek to expand. Saying NATO is encroaching on Russia is Kremlin messaging. Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the first
📢 Yes, Ukraine has a nazi problem, but it’s a very small percentage of the country, and not representative of the whole. Using a small group to smear the entire group is called “guilt by association.” Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the second.
📢 If you ever hear anyone say “What about America…” in an effort to redirect attention away from Ukraine and onto the west, that is called “Competitive victimhood” and the associated meme is *always* created by Russian-backed media. Russia has three primary propaganda efforts directed at the West, and that’s the third.
